Job Responsibilities
- Bachelors in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
- At least 3 years experience in software engineering
- In depth experience with Linux
- Skill with one or more development languages, Go, Java, Python, Ruby and PhP experience highly desired
- Experience in open source software development highly desired
- Strong familiarity with software configuration management systems and/or source code version control systems, Git experience highly desired
- Strong written and oral skills
Qualifications
- Ready to work in shifts.
- Experience with orchestration tools, ex. DC/OS or Kubernetes
- Experience with software containers, ex. Docker, Rkt, LXC
- Cloud provider automation, ex. Cloudformation, Troposphere, Heat Templates
- Experience with build management tools, preferably Jenkins
- Experience with log aggregation tools such as Splunk, Sumologic
- Experience with monitoring solutions, Newrelic, Datadog experience highly desired
- Exposure to Kafka, AWS Kinesis or messaging platforms
